Facebook ‘charrette’ delivers ideas

New media was used recently to brainstorm ideas and approaches for Detroit planners looking to create a vision for a city business area. Facebook was used to create a ‘charrette’ situation which normally requires people to attend in person.

CABE absorbed into UK Design Council

Musical chairs in Britain as the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment is phased out. Officials are saying CABE’s character and philosophy will be maintained, but that must be under some doubt.
